Who is the HCV screening aimed at?

The HCV screening is aimed at those born between January 1, 1969, and December 31, 1989 registered with the Regional Health Service (SSR) of the Lazio Region, that is, those who are assisted by a family doctor affiliated with the SSR of the Lazio Region or who are in possession of the STP code (temporarily present foreigners).

 

It consists of a single blood sample. If you test positive for the presence of HCV, you will be offered free antiviral drug therapy.

What do you book?

You book an appointment for a blood draw at one of the laboratories indicated on the booking page.

What do you need to book?

  • Tax code or STP or ENI code;

  • Health card (except for holders of STP or ENI code)
